S5/6

At Dunfermline High School, we offer both French and Spanish to Higher-level following on from successful completion of National 5. 

If a pupil has successfully completed a National 5 in a Modern Language in S4, they may be able to pick up an additional language at Higher-level.

We also offer a Beginners Italian course for S5/6 pupils in which they complete the SQA's Modern Languages for Life and Work qualification. 

All S5 and S6 pupils of Modern Languages are also invited to join our annual school trips to Valencia in Spain and Nice and the Côte d'Azur in France. In addition, we run a trip to Rome and Sorrento in Italy for senior pupils.
